QUICK GUIDES

Your storyboard in eight steps

GUIDE 1

Start your project

Name your project, describe an idea, upload a screenplay, or start with an empty board.

GUIDE 2

Choose the look

Choose Feature Film, Short Film, or Advertisements. Then choose a visual style or advertising strategy, frame shape, and camera settings.

GUIDE 3

Review the shot plan

Let CineLoom prepare the shot plan, then check the scene order and edit the shot descriptions before continuing.

GUIDE 4

Set up characters and locations

Review the reference images for your characters, objects, and locations. These help CineLoom keep details consistent across shots.

GUIDE 5

Generate selected frames

Choose the shots you want to generate and review the credit estimate before starting. You can work in smaller batches.

GUIDE 6

Review your storyboard

In Studio, review your frames, reorder scenes, add notes, and track which versions are approved.

GUIDE 7

Edit an individual shot

Open a shot in Shot Lab, describe the change you want, review the estimate, and generate a new version. Compare it with earlier versions.

GUIDE 8

Share and export

Invite teammates, share a review link, or download an available storyboard, shot list, or production document.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Answers when you need them

Getting started

Where can I see plans and trial availability?

Open Pricing to see the current plans and trial availability before you start.

What can I upload?

Start with an idea or upload a supported screenplay or document. Check the upload screen for available file types. Keep a copy of your original file.

Can I change choices later?

Yes. You can return to your setup choices and edit individual shots. Changing a choice may require new AI work and credits.

Languages and files

Does CineLoom support non-English scripts?

Choose from the languages available in the project settings. Review translated text before using it in production.

Which outputs can be translated?

Choose the output language in your project settings. Check the available text and export options, and review the result before sharing.

Why did an upload fail?

Check the file types listed on the upload screen. If the file is password protected, save an unlocked copy. If it still will not upload, try exporting it again or contact support.

Studio and AI edits

How do I edit a shot?

Open the shot, choose Edit shot, describe the exact change, review the credit estimate, and generate a new version.

Can I compare versions?

Yes. Use Compare to inspect the current frame beside an earlier version before approving or requesting changes.

What do continuity locks do?

Locks guide the AI to keep selected details consistent. Check each result: a lock does not guarantee an exact match.

Reviews, collaboration, and exports

What is a secure review link?

It gives a reviewer controlled access to specific storyboard versions without exposing the full Studio workspace. Links can expire or be revoked.

What is the difference between a collaborator and a reviewer?

Collaborators work inside the project according to their role. Reviewers use a secure link to leave feedback or approve shared material.

Where are exports saved?

Open Exports in Studio and choose an available document. Your browser downloads the file; its save location depends on your browser settings.

Language options

Choose a supported output language and review translations.

Production documents

Prepare shot lists, captions, and PDFs.
