About this policy

This policy explains how CineLoom handles information when you visit the website, create a project, use AI tools, collaborate, contact us, or buy a plan or credits. Questions? Email hello@cineloom.com.

Information we use

  • Account details: information used to sign in and manage your account, such as your name, email address, and account identifier.
  • Your projects: stories, scripts, uploaded images and files, prompts, characters, locations, shot descriptions, generated images, notes, approvals, and project settings.
  • Payments: plan, credit, checkout, and payment-status records needed to manage purchases and account access.
  • Support requests: the contact details, message, and project or team information you choose to send us.
  • Service activity: browser and device information, requests, errors, security events, and usage information used to operate the service. Optional website analytics are described below.

How we use information

We use information to provide and protect CineLoom, save and open projects, process requested AI work and exports, enable collaboration, manage purchases, answer questions, and improve reliability. CineLoom does not sell personal information.

Services that help CineLoom work

  • Clerk supports account sign-in and sessions. Read Clerk’s privacy policy.
  • Stripe handles checkout and payment processing. Read Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • Hosting, storage, and AI providers process information needed to deliver the feature you request. AI requests can include your story, prompts, images, or reference material. The provider can vary by feature and model. Contact us if you need details about a provider before submitting content with special confidentiality requirements.
  • PostHog supports optional website analytics and, when enabled, session replay after you accept optional cookies. Read PostHog’s privacy policy.

These providers process information under the arrangements and terms that apply to their services. Contact us for details about data retention and AI-provider terms for your project.

Cookies and browser storage

Required cookies and browser storage support sign-in, security, consent choices, and core site functions. Project drafts and working data may also be stored in your browser. Rejecting optional cookies does not turn off these required functions.

When optional analytics are configured and you select “Accept cookies,” CineLoom can record page visits and sign-in events and connect analytics to your account identifier. Session replay is optional and separately enabled by the service configuration; its recording settings mask text and form inputs. Masking is a safeguard, not a guarantee that every kind of content is excluded.

Selecting “Reject optional” disables optional website analytics capture. You can change your choice using Cookie settings here or in the website footer. These choices apply to CineLoom’s optional website analytics, not essential payment or sign-in services.

Sharing and review links

People you invite can access project information according to their role. A person with a review link can access the material shared through that link until it expires or is revoked. Share links only with the intended reviewers.

Storage and deletion

Information is kept while needed to provide the service, meet operational or legal requirements, handle billing, and resolve disputes. Retention can differ between project data, support messages, billing records, backups, and service providers.

You can use the project deletion control where available. For account deletion or a broader data request, contact us. Deleting a project is not the same as deleting an account or canceling a subscription. Clearing website data in your browser can remove local drafts and preferences; it does not itself delete server records.

Your choices and requests

To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information, email hello@cineloom.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Material changes to how information is handled require appropriate notice and any consent required by law. See our Terms of use for information about using CineLoom.
